The Clone Wars 1.04: Destroy Malevolence

Our Review

The last in the Malevolence arc, “Destroy Malevolence” brings in Padme and C-3PO into the story. This is actually the best addition to this arc, making it exciting, engaging, and funny. Padme heightens the stakes for characters like Anakin, and C-3PO has some of his best comedic moments in the entire saga.

The animation is simple, but there are some amazingly choreographed sequences. Navigating through the Malevolence’s internal transportation system is easily the best example of this, reminding me of the droid factory sequence from Attack of the Clones.

I’d say this is a fitting end to the arc, and easily the best episode of the three, even though the variety and style of the episode could use extra work.
