The Clone Wars 1.13: Jedi Crash

Our Review

“Jedi Crash” is an interesting story that takes place on what I call, the sunset planet. Seriously, it seems like this planet has no day, just night and cool looking sunsets. The stress is unusually high in this episode due to the fact that Anakin is crippled at the very beginning. It’s a chance for Ahsoka to start flexing her independence and making decisions without her master.

This episode includes Aayla Secura, original from Dark Horse Comics, later included in Episode II. This episode fleshes out her character a little more, and it’s interesting that she was teamed up with Ahsoka because their master/padawan relationships are very similar.

It’s also nice to see more of Rex and his relationship with Anakin. The battle with the hyppogriff-like creatures was very interesting.
