The Clone Wars 1.17: Blue Shadow Virus

Our Review

“Blue Shadow Virus” is a different sort of tale compared to the usual Star Wars story. Usually Star Wars involves adventure, and deadly viruses are not what you usually see. However, this episode does a great job of mixing the two, plus we get to see some great character conflict when Anakin attempts to rescue Padme.

We also get to see a new Gungan character, proving that the Gungans are best suited to the animated genre, and that they can really be entertaining.

The primary villain, Dr. Nuvo Vindi, was one of the greatest additions to this episode. His mad-scientist personality is what makes the episode, and he’s a great addition to the Star Wars universe, even though his species is different than anything we’ve seen so far.
