The Clone Wars 1.18: Mystery of a Thousand Moons

Our Review

This is possibly my favorite episode from season 1 of the Clone Wars. Not only is it a continuation of the Blue Shadow Virus plot, it takes us to some really cool Star Wars locations. The moons of Iego are very cool visually, and especially with the mysticism added in the plot.

We’ve heard of the angels of Iego in The Phantom Menace when Anakin asks Padme if she’s an angel. In this episode, we actually get to meet one. And they are pretty stunning, not to mention mysterious. Personally, I’d like to know more about them, but unfortunately, this is the only time in the series that we see an angel from Iego.

The new character, Jaybo, is another great addition. He helps to lighten the mood that is extremely heavy due to the impending death of Ahsoka and Padme. Overall, the tone of the episode is really great.
