The Clone Wars 1.21: Liberty on Ryloth

Our Review

Not much happens in this episode, but what does happen is significant. It’s one of the first times when we get to see Mace Windu in action, and it’s terrific. We also get to see Cham Syndulla, one of the first major freedom fighters we see in the show, and certainly not the last. Plus, he might be a relative of Hera Syndulla, a new character in Star Wars: Rebels.

The conflict between Cham, his senator, and Mace Windu isn’t very interesting. Honestly, it feels a bit forced, but it does provide a fitting conclusion to the Ryloth story arc.
