The Clone Wars 2.05: Landing at Point Rain

Our Review

“Landing at Point Rain” was my favorite episode for a very long time. It wasn’t until seasons 4 or 5 that I found another episode I like better. That could be because I’m an action junky (especially when it comes to Star Wars), but I also thought the character development and the story were just as good in this episode as in others.

As I said, the action is the best part of this episode. It is well timed, and with just enough pauses to make the real action much more exciting. My favorite moment is when an injured Obi-Wan ignights his lightsaber for what he feels may be the last time.

The ending is explosive, and the relationship between Ahsoka and Anakin continues to grow. The humor was also very fun, especially Ki-Adi-Mundi’s quip about keeping count of kills.
