The Clone Wars 2.19: The Zillo Beast Strikes Back

Our Review

If the last episode was Godzilla/King Kong-ish, this one most definitely is. But that said, the story itself is not completely unoriginal. This episode was very interesting to watch, and the creators did a great job of making us feel connected with the Zillo Beast. The Beast’s final end was perhaps one of the most emotional moments of the show so far, and the music was absolutely fantastic. Hat’s off to Kevin Kiner.

This episode also gives us a deeper look into the character of Chancellor Palpatine. This is one of the few instances where we can see his true colors coming out into his political persona. We can see his plots behind the scenes, and he never has the hood and cloak on.
