The Fall of Gondolin is the climactic tale of J.R.R. Tolkien’s history of Middle-earth. It was released post-humously by Tolkien’s son, Christopher Tolkien. In it, we learn of the fall of the greatest Elven city of all time, Gondolin. When it is finally discovered by Morgoth, the dark lord of the land, it doesn’t take long before it falls into ruin. But the Elven defeat does not mean all hope is lost. For the fall may yet signal the start of a greater fight against the forces of evil.
