Ubisoft Universe Timeline

Combining the Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and Far Cry timelines, we have the Ubisoft Universe, a collection of games that may or may not be in the same universe.

What’s on the Ubisoft Universe Timeline?

There is a strong theory that suggests that the Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs games exist within the same universe. Some characters exist within different games. One character from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag even dies in Watch Dogs by the hand of the main protagonist. This shared universe may also include the Tom Clancy games, though those connections are more tenuous. For now, we do not include the Tom Clancy games, but that may change if more evidence surfaces.

If you want to see some more detailed timelines, including books, comics, etc. consider visiting our individual Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs timelines. They’re a bit more complete.

Where to Start?

There are multiple places to delve into these Ubisoft games. We recommend Far Cry Primal, Assassin’s Creed 2, or Watch Dogs. Most games stand on their own. So therefore, you start almost anywhere. As always, if you see anything that needs to be added, deleted, or changed, please let us know. We love to hear any and all feedback you have for us. Thank you, and we hope you enjoy!

  1. Hey no to be rude, but where are Assassins Creed Odyssey, Watch Dogs Legion and Far Cry New Dawn? Oh and you may or may not want to add this but there are some pretty strong ties between assassins creed and For Honor.

  2. There are several things I wanted to point out. First, I don’t see Far Cry: Primal on the timeline. Second, do I see Far Cry: New Dawn on here either. I very well may be missing something, but I thought they were still considered canon.

I apologize if I sound pretentious or am coming off rude, I don’t intend to be either. Have a wonderful day and thank you very much for this timeline and for all of the others on this site.
